Monitor the daily performance of Workday and legacy HRIS platforms to ensure they support HR operations effectively; serve as the primary HR point of contact for identifying system glitches or performance issues.
Partner closely with the IT department to coordinate system configurations, updates, and maintenance; lead user-end testing (UAT) for HR to ensure that IT-led changes meet functional requirements before moving to Production.
Assist and audit HR-specific security role assignments within the system, ensuring appropriate data access for users while maintaining strict adherence to university privacy and compliance protocols.
Works alongside the HRIS manager to proactively identify opportunities to streamline high-effort HR processes; assist to translate HR needs into technical requirements for IT and assist in the rollout of these enhancements to end-users.
Maintain functional knowledge and support for legacy systems to ensure historical data remains accessible and accurate for reporting and compliance purposes.
