Job summary

Central Contra Costa Sanitary District is seeking an experienced Human Resources Supervisor to lead the HR workgroup, supervising three HR Analysts and two Administrative Services Assistants. The role provides leadership and technical oversight across labor relations, benefits administration, payroll, recruitment, and classification and compensation.

Qualifications

• Six (6) years of progressively responsible HR experience.
• At least two (2) years in a lead or supervisory capacity.
• Experience in labor relations, benefits, payroll, recruitment, and classification/compensation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee labor/employee relations, including MOUs and grievance processes.
• Develop and implement HR policies and standard operating procedures.
• Standardize procedures to improve efficiency and monitor workloads.
• Conduct organizational studies and manage ad hoc HR projects.
• Guide management on performance issues and corrective actions.
• Oversee benefits, including health, dental, retirement, COBRA, and leave admin.
• Oversee classification and compensation programs and studies.
