Job summary

Rockland Trust is seeking a Human Resources Summer Intern to gain hands-on experience across HR functions and support the colleague experience. You’ll work with HR professionals on projects that shape culture, engagement, and talent development within a growing community bank.

Throughout the internship, you’ll contribute to onboarding, data management, reporting, and collaboration on signature summer projects. This role offers mentorship and real business exposure to HR initiatives.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Psychology, Communications, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and a customer-service mindset.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Assist with onboarding and new-hire communications.
• Support HR administrative processes and employee data management.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition on recruiting activities and internship programs.
• Coordinate colleague engagement, training, and development initiatives.
• Contribute to HR reporting, presentations, and department communications.
• Participate in special projects that support HR priorities.
• Provide excellent service to colleagues and internal partners.
• Collaborate on HR initiatives to enhance the employee experience.
