Job summary

Sky Dine Inc. in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a Human Resources Specialist to support daily HR operations and payroll processing. The role will maintain employee records, ensure compliance, and serve as a resource for employees across the organization.

The position involves benefits administration, onboarding, compensation, policy administration, HRIS maintenance, Leave administration, training, and development initiatives. A detail-oriented professional with strong customer service is desired.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years HR/payroll experience preferred.
• Associate degree in Business Administration/Human Resources preferred.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Effective communication skills, written and verbal.
• Acute attention to detail, accuracy and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel, and Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Record and document in HRIS new hire paperwork, terminations, wage increases, position changes/transfers or promotions.
• Assist with daily operations of HR department and projects (benefits administration, onboarding, compensation, policy administration, HRIS maintenance, Leave administration, training and development).
• Prepare biweekly payroll and administer electronic payroll/HRIS (ADP Workforce Now).
• Coordinate between Payroll/HR and other departments; prepare reports.
• Maintain employee records and ensure changes are entered correctly and timely; ensure compliance with regulations.
• Process new employees, terminations, transfers, and promotions.
• Provide pay-related documents on request; assist with daily HR operations and department improvements.
