Job summary

Active Generations in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to support recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits, and records management. This role helps ensure a positive employee experience and smooth HR operations across the organization.

Reporting to the Human Resources Director, you will handle routine inquiries, coordinate new hires, maintain confidential files, and assist with board-related administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in HR, business admin, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years payroll or HR experience preferred.
• Experience with ADP WorkforceNow is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for onboarding, benefits, payroll, timekeeping, and HR processes.
• Coordinate new hire onboarding and HRIS transactions (hiring, status, compensation, enrollments, separations).
• Assist payroll administration, including timecards, processing, garnishments, verifications, and records.
• Support recruitment by posting jobs, coordinating interviews, communicating with candidates.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems.
• Provide admin support to CEO and Executive Team; assist with board meetings and minutes.
