Mountainland Technical College is seeking a Human Resources Specialist in Lehi, Utah. This full-time role supports onboarding, background checks, record management, recruitment, and employee relations, ensuring a positive employee experience and compliance with policies.

You will collaborate with HR leadership, handle recruiting from posting to offers, and manage onboarding logistics while maintaining accurate HRIS records.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited institution with an associate's degree in human resources, business, or closely related field; three years of related experience preferred.
• Experience using an HRIS system is strongly preferred.
• Strong skills with Google Suite.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent organizational instincts and ability to multitask.

Responsabilités

• Support our team across recruiting, onboarding, and employee relations, and be the go-to person for day-to-day HR questions.
• Run recruiting: posting roles, setting up interviews, and extending offers.
• Onboarding for new hires, including paperwork, orientation, and first week coordination.
• Serve as a point of contact for employees.
• Maintain employee records in HRIS and keep us compliant with state/federal requirements.
