Job summary

Uintah Engineering & Land Surveying is seeking an experienced HR professional to support a broader HR system for UELS employees. You will handle day-to-day HR functions, including talent development, compensation and benefits, employee relations, training, and policy administration.

You will also manage compliance, work-authorizations, workers' compensation, and unemployment claims. Onboarding, background checks, motor vehicle reports, and new hire orientation will be coordinated.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in HR Management or related field required; 2–5 years of experience preferred.
• Professional HR certification preferred (SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or PHR/SPHR).
• Working knowledge of general HR practices and employment regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day HR functions and a range of HR responsibilities.
• Manage talent development, compensation and benefits administration, employee relations, training, record-keeping, and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements; manage work-authorizations, workers' compensation, unemployment claims.
