Job summary

Bally's is hiring an HR Coordinator in Chicago to foster a fun, engaging atmosphere that aligns with our Born to Entertain philosophy. You will support communications, onboarding, recruitment, HR data accuracy, and policy compliance in a busy casino environment.

The role requires at least two years in HR or a related field, an associate degree (bachelor’s preferred), and strong writing and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board.
• Associate degree is required; Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Communications, or related field preferred.
• Two years of HR, communications, administrative, or related experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems; UKG experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Foster an environment that embodies Bally's Born to Entertain philosophy by creating a fun, engaging, and team member-focused atmosphere.
• Promote Bally's customer-centric culture by delivering exceptional service to guests and team members.
• Support internal communications by creating, editing, and distributing content through email, intranet, digital messaging platforms, newsletters, and employee announcements.
• Assist in the development and execution of employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, events, and culture-building activities.
• Coordinate recruiting and onboarding activities, including job postings, candidate communication, new hire orientation, and enhancing the new hire experience.
