Caterpillar Inc. is seeking an HR Risk & Compliance leader to drive U.S. and LATAM employment compliance, governance, and risk management. The role partners with senior leaders to identify risks and ensure adherence to evolving employment laws.

The ideal candidate brings multi-state expertise, executive presence, and the ability to influence across HR, Legal, and business leadership to promote an ethical workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Law, Risk Management, Public Administration, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of US Federal and state employment laws across LATAM.
• Experience leading multi-state compliance initiatives and governance programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise HR compliance programs and governance initiatives across U.S. operations.
• Develop and maintain HR policies to comply with federal, state, and local laws.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate employment-related compliance risks.
• Establish compliance controls, monitoring, and reporting processes.
• Lead investigations and remediation for compliance issues.
