Jackson County seeks an HR Recruiting Coordinator to provide comprehensive administrative support for recruitment, hiring, and onboarding functions. The role serves as the primary coordinator for pre-employment processes and employee lifecycle transactions within the HRIS and payroll system.

Qualifications

Associates Degree or equivalent in human resources management or closely related field.
Experience with recruitment, onboarding and HRIS/payroll processes preferred.
Strong communication and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

Coordinates administrative components of recruitment including postings, applicant tracking and timelines.
Coordinates pre-employment requirements such as background/reference checks and documentation.
Conducts new employee onboarding and orientation sessions, ensuring Form I-9 compliance.
Maintains accurate HR records in HRIS/HRMS and supports payroll data accuracy.
Supports recruitment planning, interview scheduling, and candidate communications.
Ensures compliance with federal/state regulations, collective bargaining agreements, and County policies.
