Job summary

Article Student Living is offering an internship in HR and Recruiting. The 12‑week program is on-site in Chicago with a full-time schedule, running May 24–August 12, 2027. Compensation is $22/hour for hands-on experience across HR operations, recruiting, onboarding, and campus outreach.

You will gain mentorship from HR and Talent Acquisition teams, work with our systems, and help improve processes while supporting employees and candidates throughout the internship.

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate student in HR, IO psychology, psychology, business, communications, or a related field.
• Genuine passion for creating a positive, welcoming experience for Article employees and prospective talent.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Friendly, clear communication in writing and in person.
• Good judgment and discretion with confidential information.

Responsibilities

• HR operations and onboarding: coordinate new hire onboarding, I-9, HRIS records, employee files.
• Policies and training: review and update HR policies and training materials.
• Employee relations: answer routine questions and escalate as needed.
