Job summary

The State of Nevada in Carson City is seeking an IT Professional 2 in Application Analysis and Development for the CORE.NV ERP project. The role centers on integrations and interface development, with potential duties spanning security, reporting, configuration, or data management.

You will analyze, design, develop, test, deploy, and support ERP components to ensure completeness and accuracy. Incumbents may review ERP versions to ensure all components remain functional, compliant, and up to

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and two years of professional IT experience in duties such as operations, systems or network administration, database administration, applications analysis and development, or information security.
Or two years as IT Professional I in Nevada State service; or four years as IT Technician IV+ in Nevada State service.
Or an equivalent combination of education and experience as described above.
Experience in ERP software review and implementation.

Responsibilities

Conduct detailed analyses to determine end-user requirements through consultation.
Maintain documentation related to architecture, operations, and work activity records.
Stay current on technological trends, security practices, laws, policies, and ethics.
Assist in resource allocations, expenditures, purchase requests, and grant requirements.
Perform related duties and may serve as a lead worker for lower-level IT staff.
