The Department of Natural Resources, Support Services Division, is seeking two Human Resource Technician 2 positions in Juneau, Alaska. This role focuses on payroll processing, audits, and customer support within a fast-paced state government environment.

You will work with CBAs, FLSA, and state payroll policy to ensure accurate bi-weekly payroll and timely action processing, while providing guidance to staff on pay and leave questions and helping maintain process consistency.

Qualificações

• Six months of entry technical level experience in HR work? (from Alaska posting)
• Proficiency with payroll procedures, timekeeping, and leave calculations.
• Familiarity with collective bargaining agreements (CBAs) and FLSA is a plus

Responsabilidades

• Process personnel actions and timesheets across bargaining units with accuracy.
• Own bi-weekly payroll processing including timesheets, leave, overtime, and final pay for terminations.
• Conduct payroll and leave audits and resolve discrepancies with Finance and staff.
• Act as a client-focused contact for payroll questions to staff and managers.
• Support team operations and serve as backup for Emergency Firefighter payroll processing.
