Job summary

Qualifications

• Six months of entry technical level experience in human resource work equivalent to a Human Resource Technician 1 with the State of Alaska or the equivalent elsewhere.
• Graduation from high school or the equivalent and one year of advanced clerical experience.
• One year of postsecondary education (32 semester hours or 48 quarter hours) from an accredited college or university equals one year.
• Human resource work includes experience in recruitment and selection, classification, employee training, employer provided benefits programs, employment law compliance, payroll, or employee or labor relations.

Responsibilities

• Enter and verify employer and employee deductions and charges in the HRM system.
• Support payroll and related HR processes as part of the Statewide Payroll Production team.
