Job summary

Fort Worth Wellness and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Payroll and Human Resources Specialist to manage payroll, benefits, and HR duties in line with policy and law. You will handle hiring, onboarding, employee relations, and compliance across the facility.

The role requires diligent handling of confidential records, accurate payroll processing for 100+ staff, and collaboration with department heads to meet staffing goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 2 years’ experience in skilled nursing or healthcare preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and payroll applications.
• Strong communication, organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to deal with confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate payroll information and maintain records; close payroll periods.
• Process semi-monthly payroll for 100+ employees.
• Process Time Keeping daily for review and correction; enter edits.
• Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate reports.
• Manage payroll variables such as overtime and shift differentials.
• Maintain personnel files and timekeeping for audit readiness; ensure confidentiality.
• Assist in hiring processes and onboarding of new staff.
• Support Employee Appreciation and recognition programs.
• Ensure compliance with pay and benefits policies.
• Enter new/rehired employees in the payroll system.
