Job summary

Owens Corning seeks an HR professional to manage daily payroll operations for the hourly workforce. Responsibilities include processing weekly payroll, maintaining timekeeping, handling benefits inquiries, and supporting Talent Center data in Employee Central.

Ideal candidate has at least 2 years in HR, strong knowledge of payroll laws, and proficiency with HRIS systems. This onsite role requires a Monday–Friday schedule with coordinating hours.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years in prior HR capacity.
• Must be able to work M-F 6:30AM-2:30PM onsite.
• Ability to interact and communicate professionally with all levels of employees and management.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including EEO, FLSA, ADA, and FMLA.
• Experience with HRIS systems required.

Responsibilities

• Process primary employee payroll weekly.
• Maintain time clocks for hourly payroll at the Roofing plants.
• Respond to payroll issues from hourly paid employees.
• Coordinate payroll changes (tax changes, direct deposit, garnishments).
• Be sole point of contact for Payroll Shared Services and ticket resolution.
