Job summary

Owens Corning is seeking a Sr HR Associate to manage daily hourly workforce operations in Portland, OR. The role centers on payroll processing, benefits administration, and Talent Center data maintenance, supporting HR needs on site.

You will handle onboarding, staffing activities, employee files, and ensure compliance with applicable laws while collaborating with supervisors and HR leadership.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 2 years in a prior HR capacity.
• Ability to work M-F 6:30AM-2:30PM onsite. Some variance possible.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws including EEO, FLSA, ADA, FMLA.
• Experience with HRIS systems is required.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll weekly and manage Kronos UKG duties.
• Respond to payroll and benefits questions; maintain employee files.
• Coordinate Talent Center data updates and run routine reports.
• Assist with hourly recruitment, pre-placement activities, onboarding, and tours.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of employee information; ensure compliance.
