Job summary

Eden Housing is seeking an HR & Payroll Coordinator to support day-to-day Human Resources Operations and Payroll Administration. This role coordinates pre-onboarding through new hire orientation, maintains compliance documentation, and provides critical support for payroll processing, reporting, audits, and related employee programs.

Collaboration with Eden's Business Technology is part of onboarding for temporary staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent in human resources management or business-related field preferred.
• OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3 years payroll processing experience, preferably using Paycom Internet based HRIS/Payroll Service. Solid understanding of payroll administration and payroll tax laws as well as accounting operations.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll bi-weekly according to processing requirements.
• Audit non-exempt timesheets bi-weekly.
• Assist onboarding inquiries, requests, and processing.
• Prepare termination paperwork and final checks as needed.
• Maintain payroll records and related files per laws and policy.
• Support 401(k) contributions changes and payroll-related training.
