Qualifications

• One year of leave processing experience OR an equivalent work experience of three years.

Responsibilities

• Process state disability claims and audits.
• Prepare the termination paperwork for departing staff.
• Determine FMLA eligibility and provide applicable correspondence.
• Coordinate employee accommodations, restrictions, and payroll/pay benefits.
• Interpret policies and regulations affecting leaves, workers’ compensation and OSHA.
• Record payroll changes and communicate benefits updates.
• Coordinate with bi-weekly payroll to reflect leaves in payroll cycles.
• Lead new employee orientation and update materials as needed.
