Job summary

Goldsboro Rehabilitation and Healthcare seeks an experienced HR/Payroll Manager to oversee payroll processing, onboarding and HR programs in our long-term care facility. You will coordinate benefits questions, maintain I-9s and personnel files, and work with accounts payable on invoices while supporting a positive, compliant workplace for our caregivers and staff.

• Experience in HR in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting or healthcare environment.
• Strong payroll and benefits knowledge with compliance focus.
• Ability to coordinate onboarding, orientation and HR programs.

Responsibilities

• Payroll: monitor and process facility payroll including punch reports and time clocks
• Conducts general orientation
• Answering general benefit & policy questions
• Enters and trains new employees into payroll & time clock system
• Maintains I-9 forms and personnel files
• Performs quarterly audits for Federal/State materials
• Retention and morale programming
• Completes reference checks and license verifications
• All HR compliance responsibilities
• Assist in workers' compensation claims
• Safety management duties
• Accounts payable coordination with corporate team
