Job summary

Aston Carter is seeking a Human Resources & Payroll Manager to oversee payroll and HR functions for ~100+ employees at our Neenah, WI site. This full-time, onsite role coordinates payroll processing, HR administration, and regulatory compliance.

The position requires 3+ years of payroll experience, proficiency with HRIS/ADP, and a strong understanding of wage laws. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential. Comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years payroll administration experience.
• Experience with HRIS or payroll management systems.
• Knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations, wage and hour laws, garnishments, and compliance requirements.
• Experience supporting employee benefits administration.
• Strong attention to detail with confidential information.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payroll for 100+ employees and distributed part-time workforce.
• Maintain payroll records, earnings, deductions, garnishments, and timekeeping.
• Ensure compliance with wage and hour laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Prepare payroll reporting, tax documents, year-end processing, and audits.
• Administer attendance, PTO, and timekeeping systems; respond to payroll inquiries.
• Support HR processes including onboarding, interviews, and policy updates.
