Job summary

CenterBeam in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Human Resources Generalist & Payroll Administrator to partner with the HR Director and support HR and payroll across divisions. The role handles recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits, compliance, and payroll administration for multi-state operations.

You will collaborate with leaders, vendors, and external agencies to ensure accurate records, timely payroll processing, and a positive employee experience while maintaining confidentiality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Admin, Accounting, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of progressive HR and payroll experience, including multi-state payroll.
• Strong knowledge of payroll administration, wage/hour requirements, and payroll tax compliance.
• Experience using an HRIS to process payroll and maintain employee data.

Responsibilities

• Partner with HR Director to deliver responsive HR and payroll support across divisions.
• Manage full-cycle recruiting and onboarding, including offers and new-hire documentation.
• Process multi-state payroll accurately and timely across multiple EINs.
• Administer employee relations, performance management, and HR policy guidance.
• Support benefits enrollment, open enrollment, and vendor coordination.
• Maintain HR records, compliance tracking, audits, and HRIS data.
