Grieco Automotive Group is seeking a professional, positive HR/Payroll Assistant to join our team in Johnston, RI. This role supports payroll and HR administration with attention to detail in a fast-paced, family-owned environment.

You will assist with new-hire orientations, payroll processing, and benefits administration, while maintaining strict confidentiality and accuracy in employee records. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and collaborate with team members.
• 4+ years of HR-related administrative experience.
• CDK / ADP Workforce Now experience strongly preferred.
• Strong customer service, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with new-hire orientations.
• Assist with payroll and benefits administration.
• Assist with daily administration of employee insurance benefits (enrollments, terminations, changes).
• Maintain confidentiality at all times.
• Update employee records and HR databases.
• Serve as a liaison between employees and the HR team.
• Respond to employee questions with excellent customer service.
• Support HR with projects, reporting, and additional duties as needed.
