Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on HR generalist experience with policy drafting, payroll, and compliance.
• Genuine in-house, multi-state compliance experience.
• Comfortable in a small, high-intensity team handling payroll, benefits and compliance personally.

Responsibilities

• Multi-state compliance: track state-by-state law changes and draft policy updates across classifications and pay ranges.
• Escalated payroll, benefits, and leave questions requiring experienced judgment.
• Reviewing and unblocking work of Payroll and HR Administration team members.
• Rearchitecting HR ops processes with an AI-native mindset.
