Job summary

Partners Personnel - Santa Barbara is seeking an HR Supervisor to support HR and location operations, including recruiting, training, performance management, safety, benefits, payroll, and employee relations.

The role leads job description development, compensation analysis, compliance, leaves management, policy administration, and training initiatives while advising managers and ensuring confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Spanish language proficiency required.
• Experience administering HR policies and employee relations.
• Proficiency with HRIS systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain job descriptions and career paths; assess exemption status per FLSA.
• Lead compensation evaluation and benefits data analysis; help define salary ranges and merit guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with EEO-1, records retention, health plan rules and harassment training.
• Oversee leaves of absence programs and ensure proper tracking and SOPs.
• Administer benefits programs and wellness initiatives; communicate plan details to employees.
• Provide coaching on performance management and investigations; assist with regulatory responses.
• Develop and deliver company-wide HR training programs; monitor attendance and effectiveness.
• Coordinate recruiting: postings, screening, interviews, onboarding and testing.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure consistent application of HR policies.
• Support safety committee meetings and incident investigations; drive corrective actions.
• Travel to Salinas, CA / Yuma, AZ as required.
