Job summary

GreenGate Fresh LLLP in Salinas, CA is seeking a Human Resources Supervisor who will support recruiting, training, performance management, safety, benefits and payroll, and employee relations. The role provides leadership in HR matters and counsel in the absence of the HR Director.

Responsibilities include creating job descriptions, maintaining compliance, overseeing leaves, administering benefits, managing employee relations, conducting investigations, coordinating training, handling onboarding

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or Business required or preferred.
• PHR certification preferred where applicable.
• Experience with payroll and HRIS systems is expected.

Responsibilities

• Develop job descriptions and career path structure.
• Participate in compensation surveys and salary range setting.
• Ensure compliance with postings, EEO-1, and record retention.
• Oversee leaves of absence program and tracking.
• Administer benefits programs and wellness initiatives.
• Counsel managers on performance and employee relations.
• Develop and deliver training programs and onboarding.
• Conduct investigations and respond to regulatory inquiries.
