Job summary

Sun Chemical is seeking an HR Operations Representative to support day-to-day HR processes and programs. You will serve as a key resource for employees and managers, handling data, payroll, benefits, and compliance across a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in HR/customer service roles, with strong communication, confidentiality, and multitasking abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems such as ADP.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of professional work experience required.
• Minimum of 1 year of HR experience required.
• Experience in HR customer service, HR shared services, or HR-focused call center environment is required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, payroll, leave administration, and other HR programs.
• Manage a high volume of requests received through phone, email, shared mailboxes, and HR service systems.
• Support and maintain HR systems, processes, and employee records.
• Provide user support and guidance related to HR systems and processes.
• Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding activities.
• Support I-9 compliance processes, reporting, and audits.
• Coordinate unemployment claim administration and respond to related inquiries.
• Respond to employment verification requests.
• Generate reports, conduct audits, and assist with HR data analysis.
