Job summary

Addison Group in Cypress, TX is seeking an HR Specialist to move candidates quickly through the hiring process by coordinating drug tests, background checks, and other pre-employment requirements.

This role will communicate candidate clearances to field managers, help resolve issues delaying hires, and handle terminations while maintaining accurate HRIS records and supporting weekly payroll as a liaison between HR, Payroll, and Operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in HR operations, compliance, onboarding, candidate processing, or workers’ compensation.
• Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
• SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.
• Experience with ADP Workforce and HRIS systems.
• Strong communication and data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate drug tests, background checks, and other pre-employment requirements.
• Communicate candidate clearances to field managers and resolve hiring delays.
• Process terminations and maintain HRIS records.
• Support weekly payroll and partner with Payroll/Operations.
• Assist onboarding, I-9 documentation, ADP processing, and job postings.
