Job summary

OnPath Credit Union is seeking an HR Specialist to manage the day-to-day administration of our people programs, including recruitment, benefits, leave, talent management, and employee records. This role is the central admin seat for the HR team, helping allow leadership to focus on strategy and program design.

You will work closely with the HR Manager and with our recruitment partner to ensure timely, accurate processes, strong service delivery, and adherence to SLAs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or a related field.
• SHRM-CP, aPHR, or PHR certification, or progress toward one.
• 2-4 years HR experience in at least two areas.
• Experience with HRIS data management.
• Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, COBRA, and I-9 requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee recruitment administration and vendor coordination.
• Administer benefits enrollments and COBRA notifications.
• Manage leave administration including FMLA and state leaves.
• Support talent management and performance review processes.
• Maintain HRIS data and employee records with accuracy.
• Serve as HR service desk for employee inquiries.
