Job summary

University Health is seeking an Employment Specialist (PRN) to support the HR department. The role focuses on entering, validating, and maintaining personnel information, and ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and confidentiality across systems.

You will assist with onboarding, job changes, and terminations while partnering with Recruitment, Compensation, Benefits, and HRIS teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes. A strong customer-service focus is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1+ year of HR experience or demonstrated knowledge of HR functions.
• Experience with PeopleSoft is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter, validate, and maintain personnel information in accordance with policies.
• Support onboarding, job changes, and terminations across the employee lifecycle.
• Research and resolve transaction discrepancies and system issues with HR teams.
• Promote data integrity and confidentiality and provide courteous, professional service to customers and colleagues.
