OnPath Credit Union is seeking an HR Specialist to manage day-to-day HR operations in Metairie, LA. You will handle recruitment logistics, benefits administration, leave tracking, and HRIS data management, acting as the first point of contact for employee HR questions.

The role emphasizes accurate record-keeping, compliance, and collaboration with the HR team to design programs. Join a team dedicated to exceptional member service and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of HR experience in benefits, leave, recruitment, or HRIS management.
• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field; SHRM-CP or PHR certification, or progress toward one.
• Strong interpersonal and customer-service oriented communication.

Responsabilités

• Recruitment administration and onboarding coordination with VMS/TQC partners.
• Benefits enrollment, COBRA, and life-event management.
• Leave administration including FMLA, state leaves, and ADA accommodations.
• Maintain HRIS data integrity and employee records; prepare reports.
• HR service desk: answer questions and route issues; support audits and data requests.
• Support annual performance cycle preparation and compliance trainings.
