First Credit Union is seeking a Human Resources Representative to support HR operations, employee records, payroll, and benefits administration. The role emphasizes confidentiality, accuracy, and professional service to staff and the community.

You will assist with recruitment, onboarding, and Notary services while maintaining HRIS data and supporting employee engagement activities. A focus on customer service and discrete handling of information is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting/Finance, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of one year of HR and/or payroll experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; Paycom experience desirable.
• Multilingual capabilities, including Spanish, are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day HR operations and administrative needs.
• Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate party.
• Maintain employee files with accuracy, confidentiality, and timeliness.
• Assist with recruitment and selection activities.
• Coordinate benefits administration and payroll processing.
• Assist with Notary services, travel, and expense reimbursements.
• Prepare and distribute quarterly employee communications and newsletters.

Education

Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field

Minimum 1 year of HR/payroll experience

Multilingual capabilities including Spanish
