Job summary

Vaco Recruiter Services is seeking an HR Coordinator in Fairfield County, CT to support a busy HR team on-site. The role emphasizes recruiting coordination, ATS administration, and HR operations with 3–5 years of experience.

You will manage candidate communications, onboarding paperwork, HR records, and reporting while ensuring compliance and a smooth candidate and employee experience.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of Human Resources experience.
• Experience supporting recruiting or talent acquisition efforts.
• Strong ATS administration experience (Workday, Greenhouse, iCIMS, Lever, Taleo, UKG, or similar).
• Experience maintaining HR records and employee documentation.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• Coordinate recruiting activities including interview scheduling and offer administration.
• Assist with onboarding, new hire paperwork, and employee documentation.
• Maintain confidential employee files and HR records while ensuring compliance.
• Support HR administrative functions including verifications and document management.
• Coordinate background checks and onboarding requirements.
• Assist with HR reporting and tracking recruiting metrics.
• Partner with hiring managers and HR leadership for a great candidate experience.
• Support HR projects and process improvements as needed.
