Job summary

State of North Carolina - Adult Correction is seeking an Organizational Management Technician I in Central HR to initiate, monitor, and complete OM actions in the Integrated HR Payroll System, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in a fast-paced environment.

The role supports CC&PA with data reporting, position description updates in Workday, and collaboration across teams. Hybrid onsite work in Raleigh, NC is available, with MS Office proficiency and knowledge of HR policies preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience applying HR Federal and State laws, and State policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Integrated HR systems to process organizational management and/or personnel actions.
• Experience creating reports to review and/or search position, employee, and organizational data.
• Experience creating and maintaining position or employee data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PDF, Word).

Responsibilities

• Initiate, monitor, tracking, revising, and completing OM actions in the Integrated HR Payroll System in a fast-paced environment.
• Review OM requests for content, accuracy, and ensure supporting documentation is included before processing.
• Provide guidance to HR and Admin staff on OM requirements, rules, and best processing practices.
• Generate reports to review position, employee, and organizational data; identify and correct discrepancies.
• Process position description updates in Workday and collaborate across internal/external teams.
