Job summary

Saint-Gobain Kansas City insulation manufacturing facility seeks an HR Operations Manager to lead HR in a union environment, driving culture, engagement, and business transformation with strong labor relations expertise.

You will partner with plant leadership on workforce strategies, coach leaders, and ensure compliance and safety while delivering organizational change and workforce modernization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 5+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Significant experience managing labor relations in a unionized environment.
• Proven ability to influence leaders, build credibility across all levels, and drive organizational and cultural change.
• Experience leading workforce planning, organizational effectiveness, and employee development.

Responsibilities

• Partner with plant leadership to align workforce strategies with operational goals and business priorities.
• Lead change management initiatives to support continuous improvement, workforce modernization, and growth.
• Assess organizational readiness, manage employee impacts, and drive adoption of change.
• Use workforce data and employee insights to influence decisions and improve organizational effectiveness.
• Develop leaders capable of leading teams through change and transformation.
• Coach supervisors and managers on leadership effectiveness, accountability, communication, and engagement.
• Embed TEC values into leadership practices and employee experiences.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, labor regulations, policies, and labor agreements.
• Oversee investigations, corrective actions, documentation, and compliance initiatives.
• Support transparent employee communications and change-management efforts.
• Partner with EHS and operations to reinforce a strong safety culture.
• Participate in incident reviews, risk reduction, and safety communications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
