Job summary

Saint-Gobain/CertainTeed in the United States is seeking a Senior Production Manager to lead a 24/7 insulation manufacturing facility, directing a large production team and driving safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost.

You will partner with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Maintenance, HR, and Finance to deliver operational excellence, champion World Class Manufacturing and Lean/Six Sigma, develop future leaders, manage budgets, and step in as acting Plant Manager when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preference mechanical, electrical, automation, chemical or related field) – Required.
• Manufacturing Experience - 10 years - Required
• Management Experience - 5 years - Required
• 5+ years of leadership experience in a unionized manufacturing environment required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 24/7 insulation manufacturing facility and oversee a large production team to drive safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost.
• Partner with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Maintenance, HR and Finance to deliver operational excellence.
• Champion World Class Manufacturing (WCM), Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to improve performance and drive sustainable growth.
• Develop future leaders, guide strategic initiatives, manage production budgets, and serve as acting Plant Manager when needed.
• Cultivate a culture of accountability, employee engagement and continuous improvement.
