TikTok USDS Joint Venture is seeking an experienced HR Operations Lead to drive core HR processes across the employee lifecycle, optimize HRIS and payroll, and ensure compliant, efficient people services. You will partner with HRBPs, Legal, and mobility teams to align operations with business goals.

The role requires 5+ years in HR operations, 3+ years leading teams, and strong Excel/Workday skills. This on-site role in California offers competitive benefits and a path to shape the employee

Qualifications

• 5+ years in HR Operations/HRIS with payroll/benefits optimization.
• 3+ years leading HR operations teams or cross-functional initiatives.
• Proficient in HRIS/Workday and HR tech tools.
• Excel skills including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
• Strong communication with stakeholders and employees.
• Expert knowledge of compliance and labor law requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own onboarding, offboarding, records, payroll coordination, and benefits.
• Collaborate with HRBPs, Leaders, TA, Mobility, ER, and Legal for service delivery.
• Ensure HR data accuracy across HRIS; act as systems owner (Workday, Sterling).
• Use HR data to identify trends and risks; propose solutions.
• Maintain HR policies and SOPs; update for regulatory changes.
• Drive efficiency by addressing root causes and scalable solutions.
