Job summary

TikTok is seeking an HR Business Partner to support engineering, privacy, and security operations across multiple time zones. You will lead end-to-end HR activities and coach leaders on organizational design for rapid scale.

The role emphasizes talent assessment, succession planning for specialized roles, and data-driven decision making using Tableau, Excel, and Power BI. You will collaborate with CoEs to shape compensation, engagement, and acquisition strategies in a dynamic tech environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Human Resources, with 2+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
• Experience in global, matrixed organizations and adapting HR strategies to evolving needs.
• Proven ability to lead talent management, organizational design, and performance management in high-growth environments.
• Experience leveraging data analysis tools (Tableau, Excel, Power BI) to inform decisions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership to develop and execute a comprehensive HR strategy across engineering, security, and privacy operations.
• Act as the primary HRBP for a global department across multiple time zones and cross-functional teams.
• Provide strategic coaching to leaders on organizational design and global team structuring.
• Lead talent assessment, career pathing, and succession planning for highly specialized roles within Engineering, Privacy, Security, and Trust & Safety.
• Oversee full-cycle performance management, goal-setting, and calibration for technical and operational outcomes.
• Leverage people data to provide insights on team health, retention bottlenecks, and organizational scale.
