Job summary

Black Diamond Coatings seeks a hands-on Human Resources Operations Manager to lead payroll, HRIS, benefits, onboarding and offboarding in Brooksville, FL. This role partners with Finance, Operations and Safety to ensure HR programs are accurate and compliant across the organization.

Recruitment is managed separately by the Talent Acquisition Manager. The ideal candidate will drive continuous improvement of HR processes and maintain high standards of data integrity and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• Five or more years of progressive human resources operations experience.
• Hands-on experience processing payroll and working with an HRIS.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR compliance.
• Experience administering benefits, onboarding/offboarding, employee records, and employee relations.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day HR operations including payroll administration, HRIS, benefits, onboarding/offboarding, employee records and relations.
• Ensure compliance with FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEOC and wage-hour requirements while maintaining accurate records.
• Audit data in ADP Workforce Now, generate HR reports and drive process improvements.
• Coordinate benefits enrollment, open enrollment, and vendor interactions for accuracy.
• Support performance management, documentation, and policy interpretation with managers.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Safety to align HR programs with business needs.
