Job summary

Mark-Taylor, a leading Arizona-based apartment community operator, is seeking an HR Operations Manager at its Scottsdale corporate office. The role oversees Paylocity HRIS transactions, data integrity, onboarding, and HR process optimization across multiple locations.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in HR operations, hands-on Paylocity experience, and a track record of developing SOPs and leading teams. The position involves travel to Mark-Taylor markets and collaborating with Talent, property

Qualifications

• At least five years of progressive HR operations or HR shared services experience.
• Hands-on experience with Paylocity or a comparable HRIS platform, including transactions, reporting, and org structure maintenance.
• Experience developing SOPs and standardizing HR processes.
• Strong attention to data accuracy and experience auditing HR system records.
• Previous people management experience or readiness to manage and develop a team.

Responsibilities

• Own and oversee employee lifecycle transactions in Paylocity: hires, terminations, transfers, pay changes with approvals and compliance.
• Maintain HRIS data integrity, org charts, and reporting structures across corporate and onsite populations.
• Establish operational controls, audits, and approval processes for transactions and data.
• Develop and maintain SOPs for HR processes and future ticketing system.
• Own onboarding operations across markets to ensure consistent, compliant new-hire experiences.
