Job summary

BG Products, Inc. seeks an HR intern to support daily HR operations in Wichita. The role includes updating databases, data entry, filing HR documents, and assisting with recruiting and onboarding.

You will help prepare performance reviews, maintain records, and assist with events and reports. A HR degree in progress is preferred; familiarity with SAGE HRMS or HRIS is a plus. The position may involve working at multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or in college working toward an HR degree preferred.
• Experience with SAGE HRMS or HRIS software preferred.
• Must be able to work in multiple locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to policies and maintain a professional attitude.
• Provide HR administrative support.
• Assist in compliance and training records.
• Maintain HR documents and reports (org charts, handbooks).
• Maintain employment records for hires, leaves, promotions.
• Assist recruiting: screen resumes, schedule interviews.
• Assist with orientation and onboarding.
• Process temp employees, contractors, benefits invoices.
• Assist benefits reconciliations and billing.
• Support Employee Self Service and benefits changes.
• Help prepare the performance review process.
• Prepare documents: photocopy, mail, scan, email.
• Assist with company events and related tasks.
• Other duties as needed.
