Job summary

Open Road Brands seeks an experienced HR Generalist to manage daily people operations in Wichita, KS. You will run biweekly payroll, administer benefits, and handle full-cycle recruiting for exempt and non-exempt roles with discretion.

You will report to the Head of Human Resources and support onboarding, offboarding, recognition events, and HR data integrity. A 4-year degree and 3+ years HR generalist experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on HR generalist experience, including benefits administration and employee relations.
• Payroll processing experience or strong HRIS depth with payroll ownership.

Responsibilities

• Process biweekly payroll in Paycom end to end.
• Maintain employee data and files with confidentiality.
• Oversee benefits enrollment, changes, and open enrollment.
• Handle first-level employee relations matters with judgment and coaching as needed.
• Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and offboarding processes.
• Administer leave documentation and tracking.
