Carvana is seeking a Coordinator, Human Resources Operations in Tempe to manage HR processes and support employee relations. You will triage the HR inbox, handle daily life cycle tasks, and ensure timely unemployment claims and verifications while maintaining confidentiality.

You will interact with internal teams, respond to routine inquiries, and contribute to policy-based actions. The role emphasizes accuracy, initiative, and strong communication across People Ops and Accounting.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of work experience in HR, Admin, or Customer Service.
• Ability to work independently with accuracy, initiative and organization.
• Strong professional email etiquette for sensitive data.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and utilize knowledge of Carvana policies related to employee relations and corrective action.
• Triage the HR inbox daily.
• Execute daily administrative processes related to the employee life cycle.
• Complete unemployment claims daily within strict deadlines.
• Answer routine employee inquiries and route complex ones appropriately.
• Provide exceptional care to internal and external customers with confidentiality.
• Review and sort inbound mail.
• Support timely employment verification requests.
• Share input on potential process improvements where appropriate.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with People Ops and Accounting to drive tasks to completion.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by leadership.
