Job summary

Carvana is seeking a People Operations Specialist focused on Leaves and Accommodations. You’ll act as an internal customer service champion and expert advisor, balancing member support with process accountability to meet business needs.

This is a fully on-site role at our Tempe, AZ headquarters, Monday through Friday. You’ll help administer LOA and accommodations with discretion and ensure compliance with federal and state laws.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Human Resources or administering leaves of absence.
• Familiarity with federal and state leave laws (FMLA, ADA, PWFA, STD/LTD).
• Experience with Workday is a big plus.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end administration of LOA and accommodations from inquiry to return-to-work.
• Serve as the go-to source for leave policies and provide clear, concise guidance.
• Proactively partner with leaders to align team member needs with business goals.
• Lead sensitive Interactions (Interactive Process) for reasonable accommodations.
• Improve processes, ensure data integrity, and maintain compliance with regulations.
