Job summary

Phamily seeks an HR Operations Manager to scale its HR infrastructure and lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of operational processes and systems across the full employee lifecycle.

You will ensure compliant, secure, data-driven HR operations built to scale, while providing an excellent employee experience. This hands-on IC role partners with cross-functional stakeholders and supports core HR functions including compensation, benefits, HRIS, payroll, and compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in HR Operations or leadership
• Experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., JustWorks, Lattice, EasyLlama, or equivalent) and HR analytics tools
• Strong knowledge of U.S. employment laws and regulatory requirements
• Demonstrated success in process improvement, HR service delivery, and project management
• Tech-savvy and systems-oriented, with a passion for building and scaling infrastructure
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree or HR certifications preferred) or equivalent work experience

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee end-to-end HR operations (payroll through PEO, compensation, benefits, performance management, L&D)
• Optimize scalable HR processes across the employee lifecycle
• Develop and implement methodologies, templates, and toolkits to support operational excellence
• Provide expert employee relations guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices
• Lead HR projects from planning through execution, meeting milestones on time and budget
• Ensure compliance with U.S. federal, state, and local employment laws
• Administer and optimize the HRIS ensuring accurate and secure employee data
• Maintain privacy, security, and compliance standards for employee data and reporting
• Develop dashboards and reports for senior leadership on service delivery, compliance, and workforce planning
• Track and report on key HR metrics and trends, informing strategy and employee experience
• Act as a point of contact for HR inquiries, ensuring timely resolution
