Job summary

Lightspeed Systems is seeking an HR Operations Specialist to own and optimize HR systems, records, and workflows. You will standardize, strengthen, and scale our HR data, paperwork, and systems of record within a hybrid Austin, TX environment.

The role focuses on lifecycle processing, compliance, benefits, and process documentation, ensuring accurate, auditable records while leveraging AI to streamline routine tasks.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in HR operations, HRIS, or related roles with strong systems ownership.

Responsibilities

• Own HRIS/ATS end-to-end, ensure data accuracy and trust in systems.
• Oversee employee lifecycle processes: onboarding, offboarding, and changes.
• Maintain compliance records and post labor law notices.
• Manage benefits enrollment and leave documentation across systems.
• Develop clear SOPs and scalable workflows for HR processes.
• Support recruiting ops: post jobs, schedule interviews, handle offers.
• Produce recurring HR dashboards for leadership.
• Leverage AI tools to draft communications and templates.
