Job summary

Summit Utilities is seeking an HR Operations Analyst I to strengthen HR effectiveness through process optimization, reporting, and knowledge management. You will document workflows, standardize processes, and collaborate with HR, Recruiting, Payroll, Benefits, and HRIS stakeholders to drive consistency.

You will develop dashboards using Excel, Power Query, and Power BI to analyze headcount, turnover, onboarding, and compliance, transforming data into actionable insights while maintaining strict

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; 3-4 years in HR Operations, People Analytics, Talent Operations, or related HR roles.
• Advanced Excel skills, Power Query and Power BI experience strongly preferred.
• Experience developing dashboards, reports, SOPs, or workflow maps; ability to support cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Optimize core HR processes across the employee lifecycle; document, standardize, and provide governance.
• Develop recurring and ad hoc dashboards and reports; analyze workforce trends and ensure data quality.
• Coordinate cross-functional HR projects with clear roles and handoffs; support knowledge management and enablement.
• Maintain HR process documentation, toolkits, templates, and reference guides; ensure plain language and consistency.
