Job summary

Summit Utilities, Inc. is seeking an HR Operations Analyst I (SGL15) in a hybrid role in Denver, CO.

You will strengthen HR effectiveness by improving core processes, workforce reporting, and knowledge management, under the Director of HR Operations. You will develop dashboards using Excel, Power Query, and Power BI; optimize workflows; and coordinate cross-functionally with HR, Recruiting, Payroll, Benefits, and HRIS teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in HR, business, analytics, or related field.
• 3-4 years in HR Operations, People Analytics, Talent Operations or related HR roles.
• Advanced Excel, Power Query, and Power BI experience strongly preferred.
• Experience developing dashboards, reports, SOPs, or workflow maps.
• Strong communication with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Core HR processes documented, refined, and standardized across the employee lifecycle.
• Identify gaps, risks, duplications, and handoff issues; propose practical improvements.
• Create clear handoffs between HR Operations, Recruiting, Talent, HRBPs, Payroll, Benefits, and HRIS.
• Maintain HR SOPs, workflow maps, and manager-facing guides.
• Identify opportunities for automation and consistency in processes.
• Develop dashboards and reports to support workforce insights and compliance.
