The Florida Legislature Office of Legislative Services, HR Office, is seeking an HR Specialist to support onboarding, personnel actions, recruitment, and related HR processes. The role involves managing HRIS-related tasks, posting jobs, and handling records in a fast-paced legislative environment.

Responsibilities include updating guides, assisting with public records requests, and coordinating with stakeholders to ensure compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Professional or nonprofessional HR experience can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.

Responsabilités

• Assist with onboarding and other personnel actions.
• Create or update user guides for HR processes.
• Assist with public records requests, invoicing, job postings and recruitment.
• Process new employees, FDLE checks and verification of eligibility for employment.
• Post job advertisements to GovernmentJobs.com and other boards; respond to applications.
