Job summary

SmithGroup is seeking an HR Representative to join our Phoenix team. The role focuses on benefits and payroll administration, HRIS maintenance, and employee support, with onboarding duties and policy development involvement.

The ideal candidate will have 3–6 years HR experience, a Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field, and proficiency with UltiPro and MS Office. We offer a hybrid work environment, generous PTO, holidays, and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business or related field preferred.
• 3–6 years HR-related experience or equivalent.
• Proficiency in HRIS maintenance and file management; MS Office required.
• Working knowledge of UltiPro and talent management software.

Responsibilities

• Perform benefits and payroll administration including enrollment, claims resolution, and reporting.
• Maintain HRIS records and generate reports.
• Provide customer service for employees on benefits, payroll, and policies.
• Screen candidate credentials and coordinate interview scheduling.
• Lead onboarding including new hire orientation, E-Verify, and paperwork entry.
• Develop and administer HR plans and procedures for local personnel.
• Assist firmwide HR initiatives and policies.
• Advise managers on HR topics and compliance with regulations.
